In 2014, the University of Delaware opened the Health Sciences Complex on the STAR Campus. We are very proud and excited to have been a part of such a large impactful project for the state of Delaware. This new facility built on the 272-acre property formerly the Chrysler plant called for high end finishes to help represent its position as a center for innovation.
Project called for wood ceilings in the lobby area to provide a warm entrance area, and custom acoustic panels installed in the corridor to follow the curving floor finishes.
Coordination was paramount as we worked with other trades to avoid above ceiling conflicts and ensure in-ceiling devices were located correctly. The finishes were installed with stringent care of the manufacturers’ specs to ensure the final product met client and architect expectations.
Being in business for 40+ years, it continues to be enjoyable to be an integral part of the changing Delaware landscape.
